Request {"Error":"MySQL": "Connection Refused"}

I have been using xtreamUI for a while now and folderwatch stopped working so I tried to fix it but it's gone wrong.

I restarted my server now I just get this error whenever I try to start the service

{"Error":"MySQL": "Connection Refused"}

I've tried logging in to mysql using the mysql -u -p command but I just get this error

Got error: 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) when trying to connect

Can anyone please help me fix this I'm pulling my hair out

Mysql is running ?
did you change something in Mysql configuration?

Try doing ps -ef | grep mysql
That should tell you if it's running

MySQL won't start and I'm not 100% sure

I found this on xtreamUI forums for a folder watch fix and since then it's not worked


"It is already in cron. So in folder watch settings you have the Scan Frequency option.
If your scan doesn't seem to be running, check your crontab with the following command:
sudo crontab -e -u xtreamcodes

Look for watch_folders.php. If it isn't there, delete the crontab_refresh file from the tmp folder of xtreamcodes, and restart the service.

Confirm own of / home / xteamcodes / for user xtreamcodes:
sudo chown -R xtreamcodes: xtreamcodes / home / xtreamcodes /"

check if mysql is running or not :

systemctl status mysql

There must be a reason why MySQL won't start. Maybe the port is already in use? Check the application logs?

I just get "failed to start MySQL Community Server" with that

As said by @masterzxz , check the log file to finde the reason why Mysql is won't start

There must be a reason why MySQL won't start. Maybe the port is already in use? Check the application logs?

Yo man, if its a load balencer, make sure the IP to main is correct

Have you maybe used almost all of your disk space? When the disk is almost full mysql is not able to run.

how to solve this

and after remove the sql and than install show this error .

your hard drive is probably full, take a look with df -h

try this command and restart mysql service

sudo sysctl -w fs.aio-max-nr=1048576
