I have an issue where 2.1.8 crashes every time opened on a device but works fine in a emulator.
2.1.7 works fine.

I have the same problem. The app starts, then restarts, and then crashes... my url to the php is valid because in sniffer it gets the false key from my server.

Ill have to see the logcat from the device to see what the error is.

Did you change the package name?
Also in the url does it end in .php?d=
Both of those will make the app crash.

nope i didnt change the pacage name... its org.dark.dark

Let me check as I did change the package name but not the way you mention but instead using apk editor studio.

It literally takes 3 minutes to do from start to finish.

1. use apktool to decompile apk
2. create php file on your server and amend as instructed
3. amend 2 locations in smali directory
4. use apktool to compile
5 use apk editor studio, open apk and then click save
6. install on device

I've just explained what you need to use and do... from there google is your friend. Between the above and the first post you have everything you need.
