Hi again. I tried the updated script with darkmedia 2.1.7 for xc 2+

Hi again, so I just did the process again, and I tried the updated script. Using such script with apk 2.1.7 was able to post login page this time but was not able to see server "Please check your connection"

I went back and switched to first script (if we can say old) posted here again with same apk.. the results were guess waht??

Successful! The apk sees my dns and this time accepted my login. I tested functions and features in the apk and everything works. Only off thing is that I can't control volume with my usb keyboard remote nor with original remote as I run my apks on Android TV Box. So volume has to actually be control with TV's remote . Which I dont see as a real issue.

This is nonsense. I spent 7 hours the first day trying to get this working but failed. Now I tried again with same first script, same apk and followed same steps and it worked. The only thing I did different is the way I hosted the script. First time I did like: public_html

/darkmedia.php

This last time I did like public_html/darkmedia/darkmedia.php

Not saying that was the fix but is the only thing different I did..

U mean the looping at login screen? Or which? I got looping in loging but pretty much was error on apk... i uninstalled and reinstalled again then proceed to edit with apk editor.. it working awesome for me.. if u need help lets do it bro

its the looping at login screen mate I used APK easy tool I'll try it with apk editor thanks for the reply and i'll get back to you later

HI, yes what apk version u use? I use apk v2.1.7 with first script found both here at https://www.worldofiptv.com/threads/dark-media-2-1-7-hardcoded-free.398/ and edited with apk editor lastest version as well. That looping happened to me 3 times for all. so at the fourth time I got it to post on login. got rid of the looping but would not take my server login... so uninstalled again and reinstalled and on the 5th time got it lol... many tries but finally worked..

dont try change name or package name, first lets get it to link to your server and make it see all its contents. then we do the rest bro.

Download the Official Dark media 2.1.8 from here DarkMEDIA_2.1.8.apk XC panel 1.6 (1.0.6) only

Decompile the apk (plenty of videos on YouTube) .

Install notepad++ if you dont have it.

Use this site to base64 https://www.base64encode.org/

Follow the instructions below. Its the same process for both versions.

Recompile apk the sign and zipalign and you will have the Dark media apk pointed to your XC IPTV URL

Got it done! One thing I cant figure out is how to change the LoginPage logo. in 2.1.8, it doesn't look like there is a png in res/drawable to change that.

Got everything working on 2.1.8 however there is a pretty big bug in 2.1.8that makes the app pretty unusable (volume+/- does not work)

The app works good... that same thing happens with 217 v....but volume works in the following screens of app. (List page, recent channel page, and categories page) try it!
