You must copy and replace the patch file (wms-server.jar) in the "/usr/local/WowzaStreamingEngine-4.7.7/lib" folder.

If the license owner gonna see extra payment, he can block your IP. this means your streams will be down. Be careful!!!

In the patched file I remove the call to the license server. The interface have an simple update checker. I can patch this to... in fact I patch this for my release but never put the files in the uploaded zip

I put in the txt file a serial found in the web. Use this serial!!!

If the owner gonna see extra payment he can block your IP. this mean your streams will be down. Be careful!!!

I didn't update it, I made a second install (4.8) while keeping 4.7.7.0.1.

But yeah, the manager shows 4.8 but the engine is still written as 4.7.7.0.1 even though only 4.8 engine is running.

This would be greate mate. Just deactivate the Update checker in your 4.8 patch.
