Info VIP Membership & New Resource System

Hi,

What happens to our VIP Membership perks with this new resource system? I have had my VIP account for less than a week, but I don't see any information about how or if it has been integrated in the new system. So far, I am unable to download any resource from posts. They are requiring that I either have credits or likes to download.

Please clarify what happens to the privileges of the VIP membership that I just purchased. Thanks.

All current VIP members accounts will keep theier status and they will get access also as long as they are VIP also access to resources manager.
Just new VIP Accounts We will adjust VIP meberships for new VIP accounts only.

I got VIP recently and keep seeing the "you dont have permission" note.

VIP works fine however you must like the post to download the resource.

Basically all downloads from the resource manager require firstly like the content, also me self and the staff have to like it

Due to the issue where VIP members were able to access resources without paying credits, we've adjusted the privileges to create fairness to those members who contribute and are not VIP.

In short, VIP was created as a way to bypass LIKES requirements. Since we've moved to CREDITS, it does not apply. However, we wish to be fair to all members. As a result, EXISTING VIP MEMBERS will be granted an allotment of 1000 CREDITS for them to spend on resource purchases. While you are VIP, if you need more, all you have to do is simply send @redhat a direct message requesting more and it will be given.
