Question TIVO Streaming Box, or any other device that allows us to go to a channel with Numbers

Hello again communuity, My question this time is if you know a device that allows us to program a button to open an APK and also allows us to select or open channels on IPTV using numbers, like 4544 (opens CNN US HD), someone told me they managed to do it with Tivo Streaming Box for less than $60 bucks.
I don't know if that's possible, and if it is, then if it's possible to install APKs like xciptv ot smarters etc
Does anyone know or have tried before? Thank you
