Starting from ground zero

Im looking to setup my own service from i currently have xtream ui setup i want to learn as much as i can before going live im in no rush to get up and running just have alot of questions that need to be answered before i can go any further any help would be greatly appreciated please reply to thread or send dm

@tmc007 what spec of server did you go for ?
i guess that ultimately the hardware will be a very important aspect of this

I went with something very basic for main
24 gb ddr3
1 gbps unmetered
Ubuntu 18.04

Acquire as many contacts as you can for stable reliable streams.
Without those contacts I would not have survived this past month.

For me this has been extremely difficult.
First, you have to be clear about where to get the streams. If you want to provide them, you have to inform yourself very well about the equipment that is needed as server, TV cards, applications and how to make everything work properly (I'm in this stage). Then, you need to send those streams to a server where they will be transcoded and made available to a panel that manages user subscriptions.

I don't think that many people are willing to do a detailed tutorial on how to do this, since for them it's their business and this "business" is not very well seen by...

I hope we can get good information from the experts
