Slight Issue With Playback

hi all,
i dont know wether its been asked but i did search , both in the xtream-ui forum and here


my issue is when i select a vod file to play using a streaming line account (m3u) ,using smarters app it takes ages to load , but plays straightaway using a mag account
am i missing a somthing as its really bugging me now

Try changing the player in settings. Vlc I prefer.

No it’s not that ,I tried that first any type of movie file takes ages to initially load but if I watch any through the mag portal it’s fine

Have you tried any other app similar to smarters?

That’s my next move , just find the issue a bit odd as loaded up my other panel and loaded fine

Smarters always seems slow, I have streams that time out on the app but show live on the panel. Tivimate is fast!

Thanks for your comment, but when I mean slow the vod loads instantly using mag but I’ve timed it on the stream line averaging 2-3 minutes before the movie starts playing
Definitely not the server as went on overkill with the vod server duel Xeon unmetered 10gbps

I’m yet to try other streaming apps , just wondered if I missed a few configuration settings

just a follow up regarding my issue , tried a few apps other than iptv smarters , it seems my issue only happens when i need to enter a username and password
any app that requires a mac address is fine

fixed my issue , thanks for the info , if anyone else has the same problem , just update geolite
