Question High IO Wait Issue with 1-Stream Panel on VOD Devices

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I am currently using the 1-Stream panel for my VOD setup. I have 3 VOD devices, and when they reach around 500 users, the LOAD and BALANCE values increase significantly, as shown in the screenshot above. I'm experiencing a serious IO Wait issue, and I’ve received different opinions regarding the root cause:

• Some suggest that it’s a software-related issue.
• Others believe it’s due to the disk read and write speeds.

Disk in use:
Toshiba 18TB SAS 12GB/s 4Kn MG09SCP18TA HDD Hard Disk Drive Storage 256MB.


I would appreciate it if anyone with experience using 1-Stream or dealing with similar VOD setups could share their insights or suggestions to resolve this issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Only 1 HDD 18 TB ? You need raid !!!!
