Info Xui one. Some problems I am having.

Hi everybody.
I would like to share my experience and get some comments re problems I am comming by. I have been using xui one v1.5.12 R2 (nulled) as a test bench since August. My set up consists of a 4 core vps as main, one 6 core as lb1 and another vps as lb2 also a local proliant gen9 server for encoding.
There are a number of problems I can not solve, I have searched but nobody seems to have my problems and/or no solution has been found. I will list in order of seriousness.
1) When a reseller account downloads a playlist for a streaming line the panel gives main server ip within the m3u file streams list, even tough reseller Url is set. On the other hand when downloaded by admin the list takes the main server Url. This applies to the url text of the streams and movies within the m3u file. The output does not seem to care about user dns.
2) proxy function does not work properly. It works on lbs only, not on main.
3) timeshift does not work even though epg is set up and running. The server does save the stream files, however the clients can not use them, and that despite people saying it works up to 4 days. I could never get it to run. Output error is file not found on stalker/mag
4) epg needs to be force reloaded other wise it does not update and stop working at end of its validity.
5) May be not an error however irritating
. Client has to put adult password twice to watch adult content (once when choosing catagory and once to open the chosen stream/channel.
6) some database tables seem to have a problem and cannot open in shell....,
6) folder watch fails to import series with output no tmdb match although tmdb has info that does not happen with all content.
We have installed the thing a few times and changed every setting we could find but it persists.
It would be nice to hear some opinions, anybody to chime in there 2 cents would be very welcome. We are attempting do disassemble to at least fix the url problem. Apart that the panel is not bad, it’s a pity it looses out to the above.

VPS ??? The author of the post, was working with a VPS… but I’m on a dedicated server.
And this problem of mine, does not have anything to do with the server being on a vps or not.
The password problem is a ministra portal problem…. It only happens with MAG’S .

As the original poster I confirm that I never met anybody who managed to solve this and a few other problems. More to say, back then I was testing with a VPS. I also tested with dedicated servers and all the problems I mentioned hold true. I have had a few guys who said they could solve that and other stuff (against payment), however they did not manage or did not understand the problem. I am still open to suggestion

i can help but with Paid Services, to sort out your problems & also helps you to fix the encoder issue that you are using gen9 Server.
all the problems step by step.

Re problem 1) I have just tested adding specific dns as suggested, adding to reseller a dns, editing reseller dns in 'users' AND adding the dns to 'main server', however it still output first dns on the list of 'main server'. It looks like the first in main server list is always the output. Are there other settings that need be done? I mean 'settings/general' SSL Custom DNS (on or off), 'settings/api' Verify Hosts (on or off) and 'settings/streaming' Use Domain Name in API. As for portal.php and problem 5) (adult password). Am I correct to assume /home/xui/ministra/portal.php is the one to modify? Thanks

1.- Edit the reseller in "Reseller DNS" type the url you want
2.- I had this error because my main server was behind a CGNAT, I could fix it throught tailscale via a private network using local ip address instead of public BUT every error related with installing LB and proxies was fixed when I purchase a dedicated server (I met someone that gives me excellent prices from contabo. I got mine with 1tb nvme, 32gb ram, 1gbps unmetered and i7-4790 CPU for 60 usd if you're interested, just give me a tip if you wish).
3.- No idea, sorry.
4.- Yes, it happens to everyone I think, just annoying but not a critical error, unless you constantly update your channels/streams.
5.- I think is most possible a issue from the player. I had no issues with XCIPTV.
6.- Some tables doesn't show data if you've activated redis
6(2).- I imagine that you got your tmbd api and linked with your panel, if not it's obvious that's not gonna work. Tmdb language before to import is important also the file names, I have a movie as "Come.And.See.1985.mkv" and as you'd imagine it won't find a match, it also happended to me but is better "import & review" to verify each name.

This is an old thread and some of the problems I had describe back then were solved a while ago.
The remaining problems here are related to reseller or user dns, time shift with mag/tvip/stalker/stbemu ext (not streaming lines/ts/hls ext).
My description was poor regarding user/reseller own dns.
When reseller has just reseller (non administrator status) and his dns is input both in reseller dns and main server domain tab and the reseller is logged in with his own dns the server will output m3u file correctly, that is with the right dns.
On the other hand if the user is an administrator, and xui one permits multiple administrator's (which could be useful on a large system) all administrator users, even if they have there dns set in both user and main server will produce m3u lists with the 1st url on main server. That is, irrelevant if the user has reseller url set or not in user or anywhere. That way multiple administrators will not automatically produce m3u urls with their own dns but with the first first url on the main server.
Now for time shift in mag
There are 2 ways to use timeshift in mag devices:
method 1) works ok, selecting time shift from program guide page, the user can select the program he wants based on epg title when timeshift is enabled for that stream
Method 2) does not work properly, while watching a stream with stream running user should be able to scroll backwards (and back forward) or pause threw time shiftshift
Using the arrow buttons or forward/rewind buttons on the remote. This is were the problem shows up. If panel is not set to gmt 0 (in settings)

If panel is not set to gmt 0 (in panel settings) and transport buttons are used to invoke timeshift, error will be “file missing”, on the other hand if panel is set to gmt 0 time shift will go back to some incorrect point of the recording, indicated by wrong time, moreover if one tries to scroll forward after timeshifting the device just exits timeshift mode. I have set up timeshift on other panels and they do not exhibit such behavior. Seems to be a bug related only to xui one.
As for the adult password may be somebody could ahead some light what needs to be changed in portals to make it work correctly.
