Can anybody shed some light on updates for the app? Ie if i make changes to the apk and upload latest version on my server what do i need to do with version numbers etc to push the new app down to users?

This is the 'Carpatic XC Panel' for XCIPTV 4.0.x I've been informed it was originally created by FireTvGuru. I assume it was then modified by Dropy2008

I was given this panel for free (after being offered it at a cost multiple times)
I have also since found it in the wild for free via a Google search... Combined with the will of the Moderators here for free sharing its time for it to make its debut

Should be a simple as uploading the files to your host (use ftp to upload not online file manager)
Then configuring the panel with your DNS
also remember to update your user/pass for the panel (default is admin/admin)

Then just edit the apk to point it to your api folder... You can find the app to use with this panel in other posts here already

FYI - you will probably need paid hosting to run this as most free hosts either dont fully allow php of they block api access (the app will just crash)

EDIT: There is an update file for the api files also below... upload the contents of the zip to your host (overwrite existing)

Just create a directory and call it whatever you like. As long as you point the app at the correct folder it should work

Did same with me when adding my dns click save all goes bk to default

@Jaystealth @sw33tkilla did you refresh the page after making the changes. Double check your json file and see if the changes were made to the file.

Yes Sir I did refresh and json file shows "0" as the value. Everything else works except that.

Update: It does update in the jason file but not on my portal.

many panel on here only work on webhosting
devs can confirm?

There are errors in all the panels but they are hidden if your host has display errors turned off in the php.ini file. if this is turned on however then the errors will be displayed and cause issue with how the panel functions. also some panels use shorthand php which is <?> this is also a option that can be turned on or off and if its off any php commands will not work and be treated as normal text. these panels will work with any host shared or dedicated. you just need to figure out what your host has turned on/off.
