Question Does XUIONE Proxy Server feature work for you ?

it doesnt need very high resources. I am using 2 core 2GB, 5gbps (metered)

Does the proxy needs to have the same bandthwith as the loadbalancer to allow all connections?
No need to have big cpu or ram?

Hi. No the proxy is just nginx and uses much less cpu and ram, however it uses the same amount of upstream/downstream bandwidth. The advantages would be multi proxy per reseller, to protect the main and load balancers from take down requests. apart that, one takedown would only affect the reseller/ proxy in question. That is if we are speaking about proxy to cover all servers

I go to the proxy dns www.mysite.com/myaccesscode and it works perfectly and my url stays the same. For playlist I do the same thing.

I have had zero playback issues.

In my case, when I switch on proxy on main Mag/stalker stop streaming (portal loads just the same) and that's irrelevant if I connect to main or proxy. On the other hand streaming lines work properly and output URL of proxy not that of the reseller profile. (think multi reseller on a few proxies )When proxy is on users can not connect to main. Do you use mag? Did you test with mag?

i just try to run UIONE Proxy feature. I install on a VPS a Proxy. I activate SSL and add a DynDNS as domain on the Proxy.
I try port 80 for http and port 443 for https, after i don't get successfully run the streams on VLC I just reinstall the Proxy with the same ports like in the Main server (http > 8000 and https > 9000)

The installation was fine. I get also the Playlist, but the i am not able to get run the test stream from the main server.

I have the same problem.! Proxy only works on load balancers. However if one logs on threw the proxy points his dns to or connects via the proxy ip it works just the same.
There is also another problem with reseller dns. When a reseller has a dns set up, the lines created by that reseller (download m3u or similar) should have his dns. However, when one opens the m3u file with a text editor the main server dns is used, effectively exposing the main server identity weather using a proxy or not. If the function use dns In lists is set to off (it’s in main settings) it outputs main server ip instead. I do not think this is normal operation and not like the old xtream for sure. It mAkes me think that it’s related to the proxy problem as the Lbs would want to point To the proxy in header not to expose any servers. Another problem I have is tv archive not working. May be it’s related or because I have a cracked version. I have looked into nginx configs and everywhere but can’t seem to solve this. Appart all php files are protected so it’s a mess. It would be nice if somebody with a genuine copy could give his experience.

Which version do you use? 1.5.5 or 1.5.12?

Hi. Did you try proxy with with mag/ stalker portal? That’s were I have issues. Lines are ok with proxy for me, also stalker is slow for me.

I have same problem on mag, I use v1.5.12R2. Is it genuine license or nulled?

Doesnt work on main, just proxy LBs, just run main on CF, it wont get flagged as hardly any data is used

It does works flawllessly.

The easiest way to impement this is to create a subdomain on main (cdn.yourdomain.com). Install proxy server and add subomain at domain tab and select all your LB AND main as well, then enter your subdomain on cloudflare and proxy it and thats all.
With the above implementation your m3u and mag as well uses cdn.yourdomain.com which ip are not exposed and pass all traffic to your main and lb. zapping is much more better as well

For most advanced users you can try with VSwitch(LAN) if your DC offers this option and change public ips with private (for example 10.0.0.x).

On main no have problem, just use official build and ubuntu 20.04. Problem is LB's there not working, need something to prepare, but no one tells what exactly.

I have done exactly this, got 5 vps really basics, installed nginx on them, and after i did, install on xuione and it works, now im gonna do some test and will now if really works

It turned out to be much simpler than expected. I formatted all the VPS, reinstalled them, and configured a single DNS address that points to the 8 VPS proxies. I added this DNS address to the domain zone on the main server.


Before enabling the proxy for the main server, I selected the DNS I had assigned to the proxy VPS servers. Then I enabled the proxy for the main server — and it works perfectly.........

You just need to go to your DNS provider and create a subdomain, for example cdn.mydns.com. In this subdomain, you add the first IP, then you repeat cdn and add the next IP, then cdn again with the next one.
Remember that in this example, mydns.com is your main DNS and cdn is the new subdomain you’re adding.
Following that rule, in the A records, you can set cdn and assign all the VPS IP addresses one by one.

In XUI, you have to add that DNS cdn.mydns.com in the domain selector on the Main Server.
Then, go to where the proxies are installed, and assign cdn.mydns.com to each proxy.
After doing all that, go back to the Main Server, select as primary domain the DNS that points to the proxies, save, enable the proxy, wait a few seconds — and it’s ready.

Note:
According to my firewall settings, IPTV Smarters, VLC, and almost all players work fine with this setup.
IBO Player has some bugs, but the rest work perfectly.
Also, I’m only proxying the Main Server — not the Load Balancers.
