Question xciptv app

hi all not sure if this is right section or not but ive got a app from my provider based on the xciptv app with his own logo but when i install it on my android stick it shows has the xciptv app with out providers own logo on the home screen but under all apps in settings it does show up with the logo has anybody got any ideas how to get it to show up on the home screen with the logo? many thanks

you can use app editor to edit logoor url. you can send me your app and logo I can edit it for you

Stick remember cache from previous app...u can try uninstall and reinstall then b4 you open app go to Settings, manage installed apps and open from there...if doest work you can restore device to factory settings then install and will show your icon

Yes...usually uninstall...restart device...install but don't open...then open from manage installed apps does it and will only happen if they had app with same package name installed previously

tried all the above info reset stick still the same outcome any other ideas? many thanks

Sounds like a png was missed. Decompile check all drawable folders for icon, recompile.

no it worked fine on fire stick 4k but not on this android stick?

If you did what @Jlwockeetv said and it doesn’t work. At this point you should tell your provider there is an issue with his app.
lol or just get a provider with a better app, just sayin
