Question Ottrun XCIPTV App

I am not sure where best to ask this question, so I as a beginner will start here. Feel free to move this or suggest a better forum.

I am using Ottrun's XCIPTV player app on my Android tablet. (I checked out the XCIPTV specific forum but I couldn't relate to it's content leaving me wondering if there are different XCIPTV apps). Anyway, I am a TiviMate app user on my theatre and general televisions. I can't use it on the tablet, and this appears the best IPTV player for a tablet. But, I can't figure out how, if possible, to customize it. I'd like to, as a minimum, hide groups, channels, favourites, and provide customized epg sources.

Is customization possible? I have the free version, but unsure if there is a paid version that provides more features. Any tutorials floating around? Couldn't find much on this app with a Google search.

As I mentioned in my original post, I did search and it took me to an XCIPTV specific forum. But none of the content that I saw in my opinion seemed relevant to what I was using. It seemed a far more complicated app that what I was using, referring to panels etc (no idea what panels are), hardcoding, themes etc. I left with the impression that thread was an app specific to IPTV providers, and not the same XCIPTV player app I was inquiring about.

Yes, thank you. That was the one after a search on World of IPTV (not other sites) that it took me to. But I found all the posts to be far more advanced that what I thought was just a simple inquiry of adjusting settings and what not. APKs, themes, panels etc all seem more advanced than what simply fine tuning an app will entail. But with this, I will assume that customization is possible, but likely beyond a begineer's grasp.

I'll check it out.

Update:
Wasn't able to edit this post, but keep in mind I'm not an IPTV provider, nor a reseller. This all sounds like things they would have to know to customize XCIPTV. Am I wrong?
