Question XUI proxy feature

Hello,

I am running XUI one. I have currently 1 main server, 1 load balancer, and 2 proxy servers. Both proxy servers are listed on my dns root in cloudflare so the user just uses mydns.com with their XC username and password. My goal is to have whatever proxy is faster to send traffic be used at the time.

I have both proxy servers covering my load balancer and my main.

Is that how the proxy works? My goal is to basically use them as a CDN with each one in different data centers.

For webtraffic the proxy works fine. I can access my server via mydns.com/accesscode

Hi. I was under the impression that proxy was used/intended to hide identity of main and Lb’s, moreover its reported on this forum and on others as well that proxy system does not work on main server in xui one, It never worked for me on main. There is a post by redhat regarding this. Does it work for you? If it does please tell us how you did it. Apart the problem I mentioned, I think it should work as you describe. However if your dns falls in the wrong hands, both/all proxy ips will get blocked and will stop working. Maybe better split it up with separate Ip/dns/proxy and give dns respective to client distance from server location. Just my 2 cents…….

supposing you are using xui one, then you can add proxy server directly from admin panel

In order to add proxy at main custom work have to be done.

For LB it works out of the box

Could you give some Guidelines for adding Proxy on Main please.

I believe it is useless to add Proxy on LB since the Playlist is loaded from Main and that is what is needed to be Protected.
