I have looked all over WOL and could not find too much if anything relating to tuning XUI.One Performance tab on the edit server section.
To start, I had been having issues with XUI.One for performance.
Things I have been battling were:
1. Slow start to streams
2. Clients constantly getting disconnected
3. Streams being restarted due to malformation or some other ffmpeg errors.
I have tried various suggestions on WOL forums and tried lots ** I mean lots of different providers.
Now it is much better...
I turned off Cache/Redis settings.
Turned off LLOD in streams, causing some providers to fail, not sure why.
I recently discovered "PHP Services" under manage servers edit under performance tab and increased this to 8.
The PHP Services helped me fix a lot of issues that I had been having.
So after setting the PHP Services, why all of a sudden did this like resolve most issues?
I have it set to 8, however it does state I can use one per core. So I have a 20 core system.
My Specs:
XUI 1.5.13, less than 500 streams, and less than 50 clients, all streams on-demand.
1 GB fiber up/down
2x Gold 6138 (40C/80T)
512 GB Memory
Any suggestions would be great, and could benefit other XUI.One users as well.
I am not complaining by all means.. Just thinking I might have missed something...
