Works fine. Maybe your host is blocking the port?

Hello,I ve turned off webhost's firewall and i updated the rules on the vps thats i have xcui installed but i always get a mysql error:connection refused.

Sometimes they block outbound requests on their end. It is not something you can modify on a panel.

Should i contact my webhost provider?What should i tell em?
Edit:
I tried once more and now whmcs is not accessible and error log shows nothing about it.

What host? Are you using a shared server?

Yeah right.But forget it im not going to proceed with the whole project.
