http://xtreamcodes.org/ is claiming to be open source and a new replacement for Xtream-Codes including a 2.9 installer.

Please be VERY careful, this is used encrypted source code from the real XC and we have no idea what its actually doing. The database is left wide open and streams can be taken with ease.

This is just a User Interface for the existing source code written by XC. Nothing new and no GPU support. I just ran the installer and it cannot even get the MySQL command right and fails each and every time.

Please be careful if you choose to use this as a temp solution.

I installed the reborn XC on a clean Ubuntu 18.04 VPS for testing.
At first, from what I looked over, comparing the original files of XC2 and of reborn, I found no changes.
They are encoded files and the ones I looked at are the same. I will still look one by one through comparison and decode tools.
As for the admin files, that replace the cms, they are unencrypted. Anyone can analyze.
I will download the installer too and check. I didn't find anything additional as abnormal either, at first.
Otherwise, it is just in the beginning and anyone can implement a more secure system for the panel. As for the DB in mysql remains the same, if you are careless can have problems. @noris already cited an example above ...

I did same just test on a virtual ubuntu 18. As beta version is great job but has to do many other things. Don't try to use real databases You have only test ones. Agree that sql working so bad maybe original xc use maria db. But things to see later.

I installed ubuntu 18.04 fresh install.
MAIN then ADMIN panel. It' s working but when I reboot server. Nginx does not start and I can not to open panel.

You set wrong mysql passowrd.
Also need to install:

sudo apt-get install libxslt1-dev

then

/home/xtreamcodes/iptv_xtream_codes/start_services.sh

to test

if using ubuntu 18.04 need to install too

sudo apt-get install libcurl3/bionic

Bouquet fix above, thanks to whoever fixed it. Rename to bouquet.php and replace in /home/xtreamcodes/iptv_xtream_codes/admin/
