Question XMLtv data for 24-7 channel.

Hello anybody know how to manually edit xmltv data for 24/7 channels so it’ll display on EPG guide. I’ve tried changing all the lines associated with the Channel ID in the xml file but doesn’t nothing happens when I refresh the guide data.... any thoughts

Didnt know I could. Thanks for the info. But honestly all my EPG works great....zap2xml works great for me. just not the 24-7 Channels. More trial and error I’ll figure it out

Assuming by 24/7 channels your meaning for example The Simpsons 24/7 etc...

Good luck. As you will need to know the following:

Every episode name
Exact episode length
Exact start and finish time of every episode

Then right a script that when it gets to the end loops back through while changing all the dates and times ?

24/7 channels are designed to be just sat on for background in my experience. EPG isn’t needed and way too much work for them.

Oh yea hadn’t plan on getting the actual EGP data. That’s a rabbit hole I’ll avoid
Just want to display the series name example “the Simpsons” vs just “On Demand”

Create a XML file for each channel and make the date from 01/01/21 00:00:00 -> 31/12/2090 23:59:00 and then amend the description you’d like etc...

absolutely right...if this strange things would go on, for some lazy clients, we all ending up to buy them toilet papers in the color they like

interesting view. it's almost the same as all the iptv admin's that are too lazy to look things up. ?

Heres a very quick example:

To view the content, you need to Sign In or Register.

To use: Upload the PHP file to webserver and then add ip/phpfile.php to your epg section.

Obviously amend to what ever you want.
