Yes, I get ads at the bottom, I already checked the code, I tried to remove them and I have not succeeded, and the ads keep coming out, after a few hours they come out, do you know how they can be removed?

I just checked mine and there is no ads. have you changed something other than what was posted

Here, I get ads at the bottom too! How they can be removed? And for me, after make the changes from the tutorial, the app crashes when I try to open the LIVE TV option. I didn't make any others changes.. Somebody else?

I have tried to remove them and have not been successful yet, how did it go for you?

If app crashes definitely something was done incorrectly redownload the app and try again

All i have changed are a couple of background images and hidden the 'EPG' category ...

Update:
Spent a couple of hours looking at this - looks to me that Ads need to be disabled in CategoriesActivity.smali
From what i can see, In my opinion they have definitely not been (fully) disabled

Time to start playing ...

you did not change something properly then still ad free for me almost 1 .month now they have been disabled in categories xml and androidmanifext.xml

if something is hardcoded in CategoriesActivity.smali changes made (eg. visibilty = 'gone') in a layout xml are going to make no difference ...

Think about it - can the EPG category icon be hidden by just changing the categories xml ? NO....

As for not changing something correctly - how difficult is it to change a background image ? - let's just say not very and leave it at that ..

Will download the 'new' version & test

Yes the ads banner cane be set to "gone" in each categories.xml and yes you can also remove or hide any button using the xml file if you know how I have created many layouts that way and I did post after saying that the wrong version was uploaded and I updated the link
