If anyone is having issues recompiling, try using apk editor on a Windows 7 machine. My windows 10 just get errors attempting to compile, I can take that same decompiled apk and put it on Windows 7 and issue solved. Don't know why

How to change package name?

I normally change the name using apk editor within my android emulator Nox

If you change the package name the epg will die and the app will break license. Just fyi

I'm using 3.2.0 I have changed the app name which is displayed once installed. I never bother package. Why would you want to change package name?

People want to change the package name so you can have more than 1 xciptv on the same device

Hey. I use apk editor pro and when recompile the app after dns change I get build errors. Then have to change the tags from <style name> to <array name> and build will complete but the record feature no longer works. Any suggestions please?

It is a known issue, it is not working for no one, I know of. welcome to the club

this app is not good. the channels are not numbered in the list. so you cant go to a channel by simply entring the channel number

First of all de-compile the app and make the following changes:

res/values/strings.xml:

Line 42 - App Name

res/drawable:

banner.png
bg2.jpg - (This is the main apps background)
developed_by.png - (I normally swap this for a blank png) This is shown in the centre at the bottom of the app when on the main menu
logo.png - Use your custom logo
ottrun_logo.png - (I normally swap this for a blank png)

res/mipmap-hdpi
res/mipmap-mdpi
res/mipmap-xhdpi
res/mipmap-xxhdpi
res/mipmap-xxxhdpi

the logos in the mipmap folders are the main app logos,

Now to input your url,

smali/com/nathnetwork/xciptv/loginactivity:

Line 729 - change to your url and port

Now compile and sign and all should be good.

If you are making the mods from scratch then you will also need to do this too:
