Tutorial XC 1.6 Solution for MAG Loading Bar not finishing or Channels not show

Hi friends,

Ok this is finally solution for people imported XC2 database to XC1.6 and having problems with MAG

I finally found the reason and the solution: the problem of the Loading Bar not finishing or empty channel list in MAG Devices on XC 1.6

The reason is the Database is not clean of special characters.

You need to clean all channels showing these <?> symbols. If you have a Bouquet or a Movie containing the question mark if you edit the bouquet you immeadetaly see it.


You need to clean your Bouquets and also Categories of this characters.

Also remove Category type called: "series" as XC 1.6.

Then reboot your mag for Portal to fully reload. You will notice once your Categories are clean portal loads. Once your channel list is clean you will see the channels.
