I'm not a boy, but hello.. I have been trying to find the same thing for ages. A standalone apk or player for Android that would play movies or tv shows listed in an open directory. Kodi has an addon that does this, btw.

for example : xtream-ui , well, iptv service can record (Timeshift Server ) TV shows BUT the user may not play / view them with all players ....
