if you are getting a vps or a dedicated just for a point of stream sources, i would not recommend a windows installed server. been there done it. keep it linux! but thats just my view. plus linux uses less resources.

At the 4gb many non transcoded streams would it do without killing it

the 4gb is not very recommend but it can hold up to 100 normal Streams with no transcoded streams im runin one my self with 100 Streams last 3 months with no problems till now I don't want to jinx it lol
