Request Tvheadend I need help change port 9981 to 9983

Can any member on this site help me with my tvheadend software please the default port is 9981 and I need to change it to 9983 thanks... I am a newbie to this and I can only use the terminal command if I get the step by step to fix it OR if someone who can fix it I can do a teamviewer and allow them to fix the port for me thanks.. Any help please send me msg in my inbox thanks again...

Try to edit default parameter in /etc/default/tvheadend:

TVH_HTTP_PORT=""
TVH_HTSP_PORT=""

Hope that will help ...

can you teamviewer my desktop and fix the port for me please thanks.. i will give you my login ID and password

My friend is very simple ...
First make a backup for this file in /etc/default/tvheadend
Second rename this file with /etc/default/2222tvheadend
Than upload the file from backup and change there the line TVH_HTTP_PORT="" to TVH_HTTP_PORT="9983" and TVH_HTSP_PORT="" to TVH_HTSP_PORT="9983"
Than reboot and login with new port ...

If you wish, you can do do a port redirection in your router! And you dont need change, default tvheadend
