TMDB data is not always displayed when I mass import movies, is there any way to force tmdb to do this after importing movies?

I have this issue ive even edited my playlist so the titles of the movies are a perfect match with the results, even then it still doesnt add the tmdb info after a mass import, i have to add one by one which takes for ever especially when you import over 400-500 at a time, but i dont think it can be done because some movies have multiple results for the same title eg 15 results found.
The only thing that differentiates them is the year ive even added the year in my playlist, very frustratiing.
