Smarters shortlink

Is it possible to use a shortlink instead of "http://url_here.comort"? I have tried htaccess/php redirects but it wont connect, just curious if this can happen.

Tried this myself mate and haven't managed to get it to work.

I would like to apk to point to a php file on my server but it didn't work for me, maybe someone else got lucky....
