Servers spec examples ...

Many people complain about CPU and RAM . Not so many fixes there , maybe last release is better ...
I just ordered :

Intel Xeon E2146G 3.50GHz - 6 cores, 12 threads
32GB RAM

Is enough to handle 140 channels ( restream) and 1000 customers ?

uplink I have is not a problem. I'm wondering how much take this...

NO VOD , NO timeshifting.

Any one have examples ? How many customers , streams , RAM , CPU etc

It's OK cofiguration, of course if you don't use XU as transcoding but as middleware

@Amater , of course will make just restream . Most of ch will be in HD .

I have just this server. All is there. No LB or other stuff ...

That's okay, if you already have 1000 subscribers, it would be a good idea to set aside some money and get another server and create LB.
If this is your current estimate of expecting 1,000 subscribers then this configuration is sufficient for you , when your number of clients grows then your budget for expanding resources will grow
