I'm not sure what app you have bud. Different locations use different sizes.
An easy way to find out is to save the current image that is in the app to your device and then open it up and see the details, the size should also be listed ?

Using png or jpg doesn’t matter. Each smarters layout has different sizes for logos, buttons, etc
