Important Note: This image is just an example !!!

It should show how to be use load balancing in an IPTV environment. Instead of running everything (IPTV Panel, Database, Live Streams, Series and VOD's, TV Archive) on ONLY ONE SERVER, It is recommended to distribute the work / load on MULTIPLE SERVER. This has the advantage that the system is redundant and failsafe, so if a server fails then the system keeps running.

Basically, it should be care that on the Main Server runs only the IPTV Panel and the corresponding Database.

The Reason: If live streams or vod are running on this server, the server will be under load, once connection/authentication/channel zapping request comes from client side to the server, it will be take long time. Perhaps the client could even get freezeron their live streams. Therefore, the main server should only be operated as a management system and not as a streaming server.

Thank You For The Info. Ironically that also applies in the world of music and video production/editing. The Application and Operating System should be on a seperate hard drive then the actual music files or video footage.
