Request Proper fail2ban config for XtreamUI

I see many posts about fail2ban configuration to prevent MAC Scanning but no complete/working solutions anywhere. Is there a proper fail2ban configuration to block MAC Scanning bots out there? I mean, everyone's posting something like "use fail2ban" and when people ask for working configs no answer is given.

Is there ANYONE that uses fail2ban with success? And if yes, can the rest of us learn how?
