After expending several hours dealing with this process, I was able to finnally come to a working solution, I will try to explain my steps:
You should be good to go! I took me some testing, I really try getting the sync without installing the extra server or at least without having Plex and XUI in the same host but without luck.
Feel free to reply if you notice any mistakes, or if you understand this process better, to be honest I just spend a couple of hours on this, trying to figure it out, I am pretty sure there should be an easier way to achieve this.
