Question Multiple xciptv install

Hey all

Sorry this one's annoying the life out of me

Does anyone know a way to install 2 xciptv side by side?

Package names both different

But they both use same file path so that won't work

I have renamed file path and edited all smali and xml to suit
Including android manifest
When I do that the app compiles and installs fine but won't open just keeps crashing on launch ??

Really driving me insane


Any help or tips would be excellent

rename the whole thing. not just the pretty name when its packaged up as an apk

i can make do with that
i can just change the VOD one so no EPG needed

Change package name, epg will die and eventually you'll get a invalid license

I have my own python autoscripts calls for appname/package change..calls for 1, 3, or 5 background images, api url,.. I personally use a vertical file main menu that has full size live tv,guide,catchup, and favorite icons on the left, vod/series is smaller to match the other icons and they appear on right... that links to my own panel that I host... it works great.

I just popped in to see what was going on.. and they are right, you can't modify the package name unless you modify smali/com/nathnetwork/xciptv/util/config.smali to not use the XC api.... the epg will work if you're using a panel or at the very least a ApiIPTV.php file

Here is an XCIPTV 3.2.2 with the package name changed to XCIPTV 1. Everything works just change DNS in the login activity.
