to prevent leeching, we just set some Download permissions for registered members.

1. You need minimal 3 Posts before you can download

first of all, welcome on board here. Why do you think that ?

you just starting the forum so the visitor first needs to be familiar with the forum and then start to posting on that. for now u should encourage people to use forum and use to check forum on dally basis

Yes but without this Simple rule, many leecher will misuse the Forum just as Download Source.

The reasoning is just preventing that. We are investing a lot time, so I think it is not a big deal for new members to be a little bit active
