1.extract the files from zip and place them in the root directory on the USB stick as follows, for example.
E: \ mag254 \ imageupdate \ bootstrap

2- Switch off the device

3- insert the USB stick

4- Turn on the device and press and hold the menu button on the remote control

5- Go to the UTILITY setting and visit the upgrade and use USB.

6- Start upgrade! and when the upgrade is complete, the device reboots and please remove the USB stick!

Untested, use at your own responsibility

This doesn't work on Mag254; it reports 'wrong signature', I've attempted to load via Bootloader and system settings; Bootloader doesn't even detect it; where as system settings reports wrong signature.
