What is the purpose of this procedure and how does it help us with kylone ?, for example, does it help us to activate the software? Or is there no way to activate it without paying the license?

I have got the new version of kylone along with the APK for Android, can someone help me activate it or can they give me the complete steps to do it ?, I see that the shadow file has to be edited to access as root, but already being inside as root what else should i do to activate it?

I wouldn't do that. (2 reasons)
1) 2.2.1 is the very old and is missing compatible modules for decrypt softcam for cpu transcode and for gpu transcode.
2) 2.2.1 is having 2 backdoors that will harm you and your installed systems with cracked.
