I have ubuntu server 20 LTS on my PC , i was able to install the XUI.ONE on it , now i want to install a replication server . what should i do . on the Servers tab there is a option to enter IP and SSH details . should i enter the SSH details of the Secondary PC ? (i have tried its failing installation)

how's the behaviour of the LB will it balance the stream across LB or is it a replica of the primary node ?

To install an lb you need to go to servers > add server, then input ip, ssh port, ssh user (root), ssh password, set streaming port (same as main) , and install your server. Set your streams to use the loadbalancer, that way stream traffic will go through lb. You can set streams to use more than 1 server. Depending on how you set them up, you might need more (double) incoming connections.

I did the same.. setup up ssh password ( installed opens as ssh was not installed) and the ssh authentication is ok then in the next step it fails stating some credentials cannot authenticate .. Which credentials it is referring too ?

my doubt is the initial configuration to follow . The field which are to be filled. . THE Server IP : which we use the Main server IP or a IP we plan to use. ? I see if we use the Main Server IP the installation goes past 1 step and stops at Installation . The Server page shows main and LB server with same IP and LB is show as INSTALLING... Where am I going wrong ?

You need the ip from the loadbalancer. If you click install server the Main Server connect with ssh to the LB and install it. All the fields are from the LB. The user you use on the LB must be root or have root priv. or instalation failed.

Also don't forget to disable any kind of firewalls

Yes.. I am getting idea of it..

My setup : I am using a local Xeon Server with Ubuntu 20.04 with root access set . And install using a client using ssh and root login.

My requirement is I will be using IPTV in a local network feed to Local OLT . Another I plan using a WAN IP and access from Intenet .

So can't we install the LB servers on the same physical server as the main server installed ? Do we need to have separate physical servers for Main and LB ? Please explain if LB and Main can be on a same physical server .

Not easy. You must seperate Server and OS. You can setup multiple OS Virtual on 1 server and can run Main Server and LB on same hardware.

Main Server and LB use same network ports so this not work on same OS or need change lot of this manualy (nginx sql and so.). If you use 2 virtual server (OS) on same hardware its no problem and work witout issues.

I do not understand the goal of the idea to use LB and Main server on same Hardware. This generate useless overhead. Simple use WAN IP on main server and clear the other with simple ip routing staff.

By the way the connections is headled by main server so simple use wan ip on lb will not work easy.

It is senseless try to install LB and Main on same server.

The only way would be to virtualise the dedicated server with Proxmox or Esxi and split the resources.

Thanks for the explanation detailing the approach .
My idea was to use the various LAN ports on the PC to map different outputs to the networks . Just like a Router .
However I am getting the point . The LB are just routing the traffic from the main server while the Main server does the dirty work of managin the streams / transcoding and repacking into his .
Thank you again .
