Question How to edit APK layout?

Hi, I'm new to the apk rebrand scene so excuse my ignorance...

I've downloaded the new layout XML files from the res/layout folders and know in Android Studio you can preview an XML layout so you can see your codes output before you have to compile. Is there any easy way of being able to "visualise" the XML's output so I can make changes and quickly see how its affected the layout?

I'm a little bit of a novice in the coding department so any pointers on how to tackle this is greatly appreciated.

I cannot remember the name but there are app's that you can use on an android device or emulator to edit the apps in a more "live" method.

That sounds similar to what I'm after. I have APK Editor Pro+ but in that app there doesn't seem to be any kind of preview for my codes output.
