Help in How to install XC 1.0.6 on a server that has XC 2.9 Ubuntu 14.04

Hello guys, at OVH you cant reinstall Ubuntu 14.04. Do you know how to do something like a fresh install to be able to install XC 1.0.6 or know if is it possible to install this version over XC 2.9?

Also can you help me with some likes please?

I think it diffiult to install xc 1 version over 2 one. Databases will not coincide plus libraries are totally different based on on their cms servers already down.
