Dyn always been reliable.

But could buy a domain and then cloudflare it (semi protects it more)

dyn dns for me. albeit when i use my redirect on one of my apps they login but content doesnt play.

You can do all the same as dyn dns stuff with a domain name and cloudflare.
Plus its easier / quick to modify their dns's these days!

Plus looks since oracle bought DYN over its maybe life is limited

yeh i just had a quick look at DYN, noip looks better. Will have to look into cloudflare

CF is free for single sites so can be worth while.

I've always used no-ip found it the best yet.

when u use no ip does the redirect work for u if u add it as a hardcode in an app?

my redirects dont bloody work on my apps
they log in but playback error on any channel

Yes mate, they work. I have had that issue with certain smarter apps.
