cost estimations

Hello Everyone,

I have a question and I would like to get an answer from IPTV servers owners.

How much the monthly estimated costs of starting and maintaining an IPTV server with 1500 live channels+3000 movies and 5000-7000 active lines.

Your comment would be highly appreciated.

maybe around $3000, and it really depends on those active lines, are they all streaming at once? or scattered?

Most likely the lines are 70-80% active but when there is a sport event.
P.S. I meant the monthly costs.

yes i get it, might be more because you are going to need high BW servers to support live ppv events if 70% of 5000 users (at a low) will be 3,500 active uploads....you usually get about 200 users per 1gb server....but you might not really know the real numbers until you start building up and adding servers to load the traffic....

Got it. I was exploring worldstream servers and found the one in the following image. Do you recommend 1 server with 40GB or 4 servers with 10gb? which is better for more stability?

you will need much more ram, and more than 1 server

Yea I forgot that I need more than 1 server. I'm gathering information about costs before I start to build my IPTV server.
It seems to be a very long journey!

well. I'm a reseller and have more than 1500 users. I have a friend as well who is a reseller and has more than 2500 users. We both decided to build our own server but we are a kind of lost. I'm lost to be honest as my friend doesn't have any background about it. He just has customers.
