Connectivity issues relating to iptv due to increased public demand (Mainland Spain)

Due to the increased demand on the internet as a result of Covid 19 and with more people staying at home some people who live in europe (Mainland Spain and other Latin American countries) have been experiencing trouble in connecting to there iptv service. Movistar are mostly responsible for this as they have the majority of control over everyones internet connections, bandwidth has been restricted for some to compensate for the overall demand. Smart tvs, mag boxes seem to be the devices that have been most affected. There is a good workaround which i have used, in the device, in network, goto ip settings, DHCP needs to be changed to static, cycle through and do not change any settings until you reach the dns settings for the device, if the device is using there isp dns this will probably cause issues, change the dns settings to 185.37.37.37 for the 2nd dns add cloudflares 1.1.1.1 then save, it should say connected. Once connected back out and try the iptv app hopefully the channels should load, it may not work for everyone but its worth a shot. Ive used this dns setting on my android box and works 100%. And i live in the U.K Hope this helps anyone who are struggling.

1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 best for privacy and good peering

I'm from Spain too and the internet speed I think it will not be solved change the DNS. In my case, the latency is good but the problem is the bandwidth... I have 3 connections, 2 from Movistar and one from Orange, the Orange is working as usualbut the other ones no.

who knows what cloudflare is doing with requests :geek:
Very true faakher, they have the technology now to know everyones surfing habits, ive noticed now that over here in the UK a lot of internet service providers are using googles dns, so they can monitor requests etc. Very big brother.
