Question Changing Main Server

Hey guys, looking for tips/advise on best way to go about relocating Main server.
Is there a painless way to restore everything to a new server?

Not a migration from one panel to another.

Just looking to move xuione from the server its currently on, to a new server, the most painless way, without having to redo LB's, etc.

Hi.

As I remember when I moving main server I done it like this:

1. installed XUI on new server.
2. On old server make a database backup with this command

./home/xui/xui_backup

3. find the created SQL backup file in /home/xui/backups/ folder
the file name has timestamp when the backup is created and copy this SQL file to the new server directory /home/xui/backups/
4. copy /home/xui/www/images/ folder from old to new server - use the same location (here is located your channels picons and VOD images)
5. copy /home/xui/bin/nginx/conf/codes/ folder from old to new server - use the same location (here is the nginx access codes to match your old database)
6. login to new server and go to Backup Settings and at the right side of your backup file hit Restore backup
7. when restore finished login to new XUI panel BUT NOW WITH YOUR OLD ACCESS CODE !!! The access code what are using before backup no longer works because your database was restored from old server. So use old access code + old admin username and password.
If XUI login page dont load restart XUI with command

service xuione restart

and try again login.
8. In XUI panel go to Servers / manage servers / edit server and check if SERVER IP adress is the same as your actual server IP adress (I have here the IP address from old server but streams work i dont know why but change this SERVER IP to the new server IP address) .
If you use SSL and domain change your domain in Domains tab (redirect you dns to your new server IP before generating SSL), go to SSL Certificate - generate SSL certificate and when SSL sucessfully generated ENABLE HTTPS
9. You can see all your Loadbalancer is Offline because you must also need to edit all your loadbalancer local config files to be able to access the mysql database from loadbalancer (loadbalancer still have IP of your old server)
10. In your loadbalancer servers find the file /home/xui/config/config.ini and edit the line

hostname = "xxxxxxxxx"

and change the xxxxx to your new main server IP adress. Save the file and run this command in your loadbalancer

service xuione restart

After this check if Loadbalancer appear online on your main server.
Repeat step 10. in all your loadbalancer servers.

Check if everything works and if all ok you can delete the old main server.

Thats all. I hope I dont make any mistakes in describing the proccess and not forget something important. Just dont delete anything from old server and delete it only after you are really make sure everything is working on new server. And if you stuck somewhere just ask me maybe i can help even if Iam feel also like beginner
