Hi guys, maybe is not a reasonable question, we are jumping from a Dedicated server to one offshore server, but distance Offshore it is pretty far from LB, before channels Live channels takes 2 or 3 seconds, now takes 5 or 6 seconds to show a frame, and on demands channels takes 10 seconds to show a frame, theres a way to fix that? or the only way is changing main server to a closer place??

I'm also looking for this answer. For faster zapping, should Main server location be near to LB location or Client location?

Define "pretty far" ? Stable network and under 60ms between your main and your LBs is acceptable... Ofc the lower the better... But network quality, proper routes znd reliable is zlso important... But the most important still the situation between your LBs ane your end users...
If you are looking for good offshore servers for EU you can hit me up... :)

Answer is, main should be close from costumers, LB not much, but for better zapping should be, if main ar too far it be notable

This is wrong... LBs manages the content to end users the main just does the auth part, sends the playlist and does the "validations"... Ofc it also has its importance but the most important for end user experience that needs to be close to end users is the LB... And not the other way around... Main simply gets the request, sends the playlist and when the end user request a channel the main simply checks if allowed if so send a 302 to the lb... So it also impacts but not that much... (that is so small amount of data and fast exchanged anyway) the LB actually is the one that will deliver the actual stream once the validation between the main and the lb has been done... So way more important is that LBs have the less possible latency with end users, so closest to the user (main is important too but not as much as the lb) in best scenario both lbs and main need to have low latency, good network and routes... But for end users LBs more important for sure...
