Question Cannot connect to database

Hi,

hope someone can help me here,

My root password works fine, however xui says :

{"error":"MySQL: Cannot connect to database! Please check credentials."}

how to update login credentials for xui ?

adding the new credentials in config.ini file and restart did not help
