Request Any alternative to downloader app in firestick

I am hearing some rumors that downloader app in firestick will be removed soon due to some legal mentions of the app by Dish. They claims that the app is helping to promote piracy (absurd).

My question is, Is there a simple alternative to the end users to install apk on the firestick, incase if downloader goes down all of a sudden.

Apps2Fire for Android Phones is the way forward, you connect the app directly too the FireTV Stick and from there push over whatever apps you would like.

Downloader is an app to sideload any app to firestick, not just iptv apps. They would struggle to get rid of that off the stick so I wouldn't worry. There's always rumours flying around. Amazon wouldn't sell many sticks if it wasn't for iptv.

You have some options.
1. You can turn on debugger mode on the Fredrick, and install the android adb on your pc and you will be able to install apps directly from your pc.

2. Get an otg cable. Plug the cable to your Fredrick, connect an usb thumb drive to your firestick Open es file explorer and install from firestick.

This seems strange as the main guy who made the app - dont quote me AFTVNews was approached by Amazon leave it all and go and work for them and he sold the project to Troypoint - have to wait and see - it will kill the ease of setting up a stick.

Are you still saying that you can't download the Downloader app through Amazon because it's not a free download anymore? It still seems to be free for me from there. Just wondering. Also wondering if maybe you are confusing the app called Download Manager for Fire TV with Downloader because it is not free, cost 99 cents in the USA. (in other words Downloader is free, Download Manager for Fire Tv is not free)

I cant see them getting rid of it amazon would t sell nearly as many units without the fact you can side load into it so I doubt they will get rid of something that helps them sell the firestick

I use "ES File Explorer". simple adding a cloud on it, in my case I added my Google Drive, then copy the file from Drive to Explorer of Fire and that's it

Apps2Fire app is a god send. Took is long enough to Relise when doing a fire stick this was easiest way to do it as long as your connected to the wifi. Any time i loaded a firestick and got the error about 1click settings needed activated i never relised Apps2Fire bypassed that. Canna c amazon dropping downloader app though as the sales of them have helped his fortune lol

I have never paid for it .... it may be a pirate APP that looked like it and you were tricked into it.
