Not sure I don't believe there was ever an official reason given, they still advise on there site about there IOS app and still make them for paying customers.

No jailbreak needed pay the $500 then provide them your images and they will design and get the app onto the app store for you.

I actually tried to do this and got no where with them. Im guessing because I requested that it be hard coded. I spoke to a sales rep for 2 months!
