I was having the same problem Credits go to leo from another forum not sure if he's here but this worked for me

First :
1) sudo apt-get update
2) apt-get install libxslt1-dev libcurl3 libgeoip-dev python -y python-paramiko
3) wget --no-check-certificate https://www.dropbox.com/s/w63n1vvblndjk ... ll.py?dl=1 -O install.py
4) sudo python install.py
Second :
1) apt-get install e2fsprogs -y && chattr -i /home/xtreamcodes/iptv_xtream_codes/GeoLite2.mmdb && wget https://github.com/abanobem/Xtream-UI/r ... Lite2.mmdb -O /home/xtreamcodes/iptv_xtream_codes/GeoLite2.mmdb && chattr +i /home/xtreamcodes/iptv_xtream_codes/GeoLite2.mmdb
Login INFO :
http://IP:25500 , default username and password : admin

Make sure to check the links before you put them in as you see in post ... but if you right click and copy link and post into notepad you will see the correct link

With all do respect I did tried doing the install several times, recreated my test vm several times and tried the update and nothing worked for me except for what I posted.

Thank for the reply still didnt work for me. The way i solved the 404 error for anyone who wants to know.
