TiviMate is a new IPTV/OTT player for set-top boxes. The app is optimized for Android TV and remote control and will not work on smartphones or tablets.

The Premium version has several additional features: support for multiple playlists, favorites management, archives and search, multi-view and recording. As well as setting the refresh interval of the TV guide, transparency and timeout of the panels. And also manual sorting of channels and turning on the last channel when the application starts.

The application has a multilingual interface, including English and Russian. It also requires an Android version of at least 5.0 Lollipop installed on the device. Without advertising.

Unfortunately, in the TiviMate player there is no way to list all channels in the sidebar while browsing. And the TV program itself is quite overloaded. There is also a lack of air mouse support.

The application uses ExoPlayer, which by default selects the preferred system decoder, i.e. hardware. This decoder cannot work with UDP and RTSP protocols. Also in ExoPlayer there is no channel archive support.

In the modification, analytics is additionally cut out and "left" requests to the developer's server are disabled. The fact is that after a while TiviMate can send a request to the author's server and show a banner with an offer to update (despite the fact that auto-update is disabled by default in the mod).
