Awesome info - thanks for sharing but for FHD better to make it 5000000 (5 seconds)

Maybe this is a silly question, but, if you set your probesize in the panel the first value, then are using a custom command with a different value.... whats the point of the first?

yeah this is in the setting panel, not in ondemande stream setting, in on demande its recomended 512000 or 256000

I used to wonder about this one previously, but I found the following:

Settings > Streaming > Analysis Duration / Probe Size = Similar to applying a mass edit

Add/Update Stream > Advanced > Custom FFMpeg Command / On Demand Probesize = Stream specific settings which over ride the above settings.

I also go with the following custom FFMpeg command when streaming Full HD Streams


While also adjusting the stream specific probesize to 8000000 for those streams also. I'm not sure about decreasing load times, but I would see streams restarting every few minutes or so within the panel without applying these settings and this would create playback issues for client, however changing to these values prevents the stream from keep restarting within the Xtream UI panel. I also use 5000000 for HD streams and 3000000 for SD streams. I think if I was to lower these values perhaps load times could be reduced, but they switch quick enough with the above so they work well enough for me like that.
